It has nothing to do with socialism. This also happened under bush. Norway is more socialist than the U.S. will ever be, yet they don't have the same problem. In fact they are among the top 3 happiest nations in the world according to forbes (US is at 16). No, the problem is the fact that lobbyists use money to influence government officials. Basically legal bribery. In exchange, tax dollars are essentially put in the pockets of CEO's. Lobbying is exploited. It needs to be regulated, illegalized.
thebadguy2k6 Says:
Business(s) is/are not taking your money unless you have a contract with them. If they are...then you need to file a lawsuit. However, if a buisness recieves your tax payer funds......that's not the fault of business. That's your socialist government hard at work! Personally, I'd like to file a lawsuit against ever single man/woman/child that has recieved welfare/housing assistance/college loans/food stamps/etc.. But I can't.....because my tax dollars are not really mine once they leave my hand.
BootyBot Says:
so you're saying it's my fault that businesses and the government are taking my money because I voted for Obama?Ok.Well how about this. This happened under bush too. And I did not vote for obama. Bush and Obama are equally at fault as far as "government fraud of tax payer funds" is concerned. Sorry but I don't buy the dems vs repub game. I don't mindlessly chain my beliefs to whatever is popular within the party at the moment.I will admit though being told how to think does make things simpler.
thebadguy2k6 Says:
Got news for you.....occutards "are" a special interest group. Your problem is......the people you attempt to wage war against do not revel in the "victim mentality" like the occutards do. Also, corporations have nothing to do with "civil liberties"....although....I'm sure you and I will disagree to the extent of what "civil liberties" covers. Until the day that corporation XYZ forces me to sign a binding contract out side of my own will......I will never be on your side.....thus....my handle!
thebadguy2k6 Says:
No.....you are not.
thebadguy2k6 Says:
Drop Kick! Stealing is the act of taking without permission. As I recall, your elected officals were all to willing to give these institutions tax payer funds. You're confusing a the false premise such as "corporations stealing money" with the real crime "government fraud of tax payer funds". But then, this is what you fuck sticks wanted! You want an all powerful government to "rule" over you and "redistribute the wealth". Just don't get mad when it doesn't work out the way you had invisioned.
pokemondude45 Says:
The Patriots again huh? Snaaake!! oh wait wrong game
Assasin4497 Says:
Is it strange that I want to be a patriot in this game?
MrNapGeo Says:
With a name like @thebadguy2k6.. your ideas seem pretty fitting. While America becomes victim to special interest groups and having our civil liberties stripped away by the passing days, those who call the shots for where we expand to next (since we're dominating the oil and opium trade now) continue to simply get richer, while the masses, the sheep, are controlled and enslaved for mediocre wages as the costs of living continually rise. The ideas TRULY are patriotic.
TheSoulOfADream Says:

MrYungKdogg Says:
When did I ever say it was? Instead of assuming shit, maybe you should read first. Pay attention to detail idiot.
948L0 Says:
And you called me a retard for criticizing it and wanting it repealed More votes should mean more seats, but with the Dhont law, that is impossible Dhont law encourages and reinforces an unfair two-party system, where the two big shot parties get most of the votes and seats, "strategically" important parties get more seats even if they get less votes, and the rest of parties, get only the leftovers or nothing vene if they have more votes than the "strategically" important parties Say NO to Dhont
948L0 Says:
How would you feel if in your country, Party X got 30 million votes and got 400 seats, but party Z got 40 million votes but only got 200 seats, and you voted for party Z, that would make your vote and the votes of the people that Voted Z be worth less than the votes of the people that voted for X, even if Z got more votes than X that is the D´Hont law in a nutshell Not very "democratic" and "constitutional", right?
TheSoulOfADream Says:
oh my fucking god...you gotta be kidding me...i just came back after like 4 months from watching this trailer and you guys are still posting comments about politics because you guys are debating who's the 99%, occupied wallstreet, and the government; whos the good guys and all? get a fucking life you couch potatos.
948L0 Says:
Do you think that is fair or democratic? For a party to get less congressional seats than other, even if it has more votes? The D´Hot law only serves for the big shot parties to get ost of the cake, even if other parties have more votes than them, they only get the leftovers THAT, my friend, should be antidemocratic and unconstitutional, but the big parties dont want to get rid of that law, because that would favour new political options to emerge, and Dems and Reps dont want that, only power
948L0 Says:
Example, in the 2011 elections in Spain number of votes and congress seats assigned (PP - 10,866,566 - 186) (PSOE - 7,003,511 - 110) (IU - 1,685,991 - 11) (UPyD - 1,143,225 - 5) (CiU - 1,015,691 - 16) (Amaiur - 334,498 - 7) (PNV - 324,317 - 5) (ERC - 256,393 - 3) (BNG - 184,037 - 2) That means votes in some regions are worth more than votes from other regions And parties can get more seats, even if they get less votes CiU got 3 times more seats than UPyD, even if CiU got 100k less votes
948L0 Says:
We need to get rid of the two-party system and the D´Hont law And 15-20 political parties (including Dems and Reps, but as equal as the other parties, not major like they are now) all with equal opportunity of achieving the presidency of the USA And we the ordinary citizens to be more involved in the decision making and bill passing process Only there, we will have a real democracy, not what we have now, voting someone to "represent" us and make all the decisions for us is not democratic
948L0 Says:
So you think that, when the Reps/Dems of Congress makes a law (even if it harms our rights), we should just shut up, take it up our asses, and simply obey it? If we dont like them, we vote them out, only to put the other parasite in power Do you think that will solve the problem? Dem - Rep - Dem - Rep - Dem - Rep, rinse and repeat ad nauseam What we need is to get rid of the two party system (for the Dems and Reps to still exist as parties, nut not as the two big shots they are)
