No kidding! He's had Pro Bowl and HOF defensive backs backing him up as well. Don't waste your time; the kid likes to think people just fall out of the sky.

NickFritzProductions Says:
Your a dumbass. You think the running backs today are better then the ones back then? Butkus can easily EASILy cover Peterson, Bettie's etc. could Lewis cover Dickerson Payton Sayers Jim brown? No

jessejones14 Says:
like i said 115 wins come back and say something when your team has actually done anything. the bears are old with a less than usless QB and didnt even make the play off's last year even with your so called outstanding defense losing 5 streight games and finishing 8-8.

mmeatheaddd Says:
and you think lewis covers them same players?lmfao!

mmeatheaddd Says:
you are the worset team in the league and every1 that built your team is gone.1-15 what ever you want to say about 12 years ago,go ahead.but your are 1-15.

Lexingtonian Says:
and ray lewis would never survive as long as butkus did back in the day. It was the medical stone age and a much more physical time. He could never cover gale sayers, what's your point? How about dickerson or Bo Jackson. Just because players now have more advantages in training doesn't mean they're better as just athletes. Bo Jackson and Jim Brown would dominate anyone today

hitek9wittafulclip Says:
He's light years ahead of Butkus. You keep boasting about Bukus shedding olinemen. Big deal.Olinemen were averaging 250lbs then.Butkus doesnt have the strength, speed,or athleticism of Ray Lewis.Lewis has excelled in the 4-3 and 3-4. No need to compare Butkus to Lewis. If Butkus was around today, he wouldnt get on a good team. He could never cover Tony Gonzales,Marshall Faulk,Antonio Gates, go head to head with Eddie George, Jerome Bettis,Adrian Peterson, etc. Lewis played against better players

One dislike. Must be a former NFL player that Butkus knocked out.

mmeatheaddd Says:
yup you are 1-15 thats your point.
May 14, 2012
jessejones14 Says:
my mistake anyway we had 115 wins from 2000-2009 but you get the point ;)

jessejones14 Says:
or win a championship 27years how long do you think the bears have 2 season at the most but you got jay cutler tho good luck with that ;)
May 14, 2012
jessejones14 Says:
whats your point here? we lost our best player for the season and now we are in a re-building phase happens to every team. come back when your team wins 95 games in a decade ;)
May 14, 2012
mmeatheaddd Says:
so what?you sucked last year as well, mr. 1-15 lol!.we see come game time how bad the bears crush your ass.peytons gone, the GM who built your team is gone.looks like you guys will suck for a very long time.atleast when you drafted peyton, they had some good players around him, your new qb has nothing.
May 13, 2012
jessejones14 Says:
we are a new team with a rookie QB of course you are going to win. it is going to be a slight change from 9 streight play offs, 95 wins in a decade(the most by any team) 1 superbowl,2 superbowl appirances,4 afc championships. but hey your bears losing to my colts, and to a 10-6 packers at home in 2010 must be fun to watch ;)
May 13, 2012
mmeatheaddd Says:
like i said you beat us in the SB-but we will see come 9/12! and just for the record rex grossmen lost the SB for the bears-your colts did not do anyhting great.rex grossmen = 4 turn over alone-2 lost snaps from center = bad.see you in september!
May 13, 2012
jessejones14 Says:
i wonder what i would rather have a superbowl or a opening day ? and after our championship year in 06 in 07 we started 9-0 before the pats beat us so you didnt beat us opaning day.
May 13, 2012
mmeatheaddd Says:
well you beat the bears in the SB but we beat you ass opening day the following year.and we are going to do it again this year.lewis is one of the all time great LBS,for sure.but hes overated now and a product of the ravens d system.watch urlacher when he had 2 350 lb+ dt in front of him his first few years in the league, urlacher was unstopable.now he play the cover 2,and still put up all them #'s.
May 13, 2012
mmeatheaddd Says:
lol nice no comeback-you wanted #'s i gave them to you.its funny you try and base reall life football of the top 100 players voted by fans and #'s,lmfao.watch the tape and you see the inpact of butkus.do not forget butkus played 14 games seasons and still put up all thoese #'s.

jessejones14 Says:
you are the only person in the world who thinks this just to let you know.
May 13, 2012
jessejones14 Says:
yeah sure losing a superbowl in 06 well done ( to my team is well i am a colt not a raven ). the ravens were in the afc champ last year whats your point. urlacher is a good player im not saying he isn't but better than ray lewis ? are you on crack
May 13, 2012
mmeatheaddd Says:
in 16 seasons lewis has 1993 total tackles - 40.5 sacks and 31 ints.ulracher in 12 seasons "including 1 hole year he did not play" has 1285 total tackles - 41.5 sacks and 21 ints.now do the math!and remember lewis has been playing 4 years longer then urlacher.when lewis retires urlacher #'s will surpass lewis!so there's the #'s for you.if you want to call ulracher and lewis a push "equal"thats fine. but urlacher can do things lewis cant do.urlacher has much better range and speed.
May 13, 2012
mmeatheaddd Says:
whens the last time the ravens were in the SB?bears where there in 06 and the NFCCG 2 years ago.WTF stats are you taking about?both ulracher and butkus have hall of fame stats.i guess you do not understand football?you fial to understand that in the ravens defence having a 350 lb DT allows for lewis to run "free" most of the time.thats the job of a fat ass DT in your system.Ulralcher plays in more of a cover 2 defence.thats why you see ulracher 20 yards down the feild coving WR'S.
