This madden has a few improvements that we have waited for, but as many have said, this isn't enough. The game still has such a scripted look to it, especially when passing. What's to happen looks determined from the moment the QB launches the pass, like when he underthrows a receiver right into a defender's lap. One of the things we have ALWAYS said about Madden is to give the user more control. Decreasing the range of animation triggers isn't enough for me.

While the blocking itself in terms of "man on a man" was good, the interactions themselves were far from impressive IMO. Very static. Struggles between OL\DL were very minimal. Each interaction looks like they occupy some "zone" or space and not much movement within the line of scrimmage. Adding animations would help make it more dynamic or at least appear dynamic...
