steventheraiderful Says:
Let's do this we may have lost the best players but we have a very good coaching staff QB Guru Hue Jackson, former Raider DB & HOF Rod Woodson & The Wiz Steve Wisniewski and Killerdoctor I know you're there to say some shit I'll be waiting & the rest of the haters keep on hating!
MsArtemis01 Says:
I need the Chargers defense to do good for my fantasy football league. ~NERD~
FootballGameplan Says:
- Thanks Slew! Here's the thing, the Raiders success all hinges on the passing game being consistent.. If the passing game gets to the "Gameplanable Level", then the Raiders are right where they need to be
slewofdamascus Says:
Emory: excellent observations about how this team is situated right now. We lost Miller but replaced him with an accomplished TE, K Boss, who is much more physical up front than Miller (who may never fully recover from his foot injury). The raiders have helped themselves in the draft for 2 straight years; this very young team is loaded with potential. There will surely be growing pains, but they have veteran leadership, which could be the difference. Playoffs seem lofty; but the talent is there.
daddy6string Says:
That is weak. Sorry. Yes the Raiders went 6-0 in the West but 2-8 against the League. Aso ....gone. Miller....Gone. switching from a Zone to a Power with a patched together O line? Sorry but I think your crazy.
Vestibowl Says:
Finally a realistic AFC West preview!
RedskinsTillDeath21 Says:
The Raiders really?
rollercoasterfweak Says:
Go raiders!!! no way the chiefs go 4th though, I don't see them regressing that much.
RsChrisG Says:
We didn't play the niners!
WillFlo818 Says:
Raiders still killed them Chiefs, so how are they better....?
raiderrocker18 Says:
said all those great things about the chiefs... but then has them going 4th? the broncos are going to finish 5th in this division, thats how bad they are. its gna be a hell of a race between oakland, san diego, and KC
Norg1 Says:
didnt the jags get destroyed by the cheifs and san fran last year LOL : P
graafitee4eva Says:
yeah you need but will they do so....the will struggle at the begining and make progress and show their talent but that means they will play like 2nd in their divison....I will stay on that and I am no fan of one of those 4 teams...chargers #1 raiders#2 chiefs#3 broncos#
PersonalJesus348 Says:
The Raiders corners and overall health is what worries me this season. But good looking out. Most people would believe the hype that San Diego would be king. NOPE!
20duran06 Says:
@Scott71785 are you serious? We lost a COACH not a player... Nnamdi! The Raiders have speed, what does that mean, wow, you can run by us but will you catch the ball (J. Ford). C'mon man, the Raiders are a complete joke.
chango10669 Says:
Finally someone doesn't say the Raiders are doomed because they lost Nnamdi Asomugha and Zach Miller. Raiders are going to prove that they can win with out them and sweep the AFC west again.
scott71785 Says:
Lol... dude HOW can you say the Chiefs are better than the Raiders when the Raiders swept them... AND WHOOPED their ass in the 2nd game!? Chiefs and Cassell have looked like SHIT this entire pre-season. You don't think losing Charlie Weiss isn't going to hurt???!?!/ You guys had a fluke season with a FANTASTIC coaching staff. That coaching staff has been mostly dismantled (well the good pieces of it) and you guys are going to go back in the basement of the AFCW. I really believe this.
scott71785 Says:
I think you need to look at Stanford Routt's burn percentage. He is going to be a better #1 CB than Nnamdi was... We just need the other guys to step up. CJ37 needs to step up to #2.. Lito Sheppard #3... DVD #4. We really need the young guys to step up, but in base sets with 2 WR's we will dominate. Teams like the Saints, Colts, Patriots would probably pick us apart with 4 and 5 wide sets... Rod Woodson is our DB coach. I think we will be okay without #21.
20duran06 Says:
Of all teams, THE RAIDERS? Seriously? The same team that "swept" the division and couldn't win outside of it? THE RAIDERS? The Chiefs are better than the Raiders! You're honestly picking the CHIEFS to finish in LAST place? Really? OMG... You had got to be a Raiders fan, I don't see the division finishing out like this at all! Raiders and Broncos before the Chiefs? Wow... IMO I see the West being WIDE OPEN. Which ever team can get hot at seasons end will win the west, besides Denver or Oakland.
FootballGameplan Says:
- Not a fan, but just looking at it objectively Look at those games they lost, a lot of close ones.. plus their home schedule is favorable. East Coast teams always struggle with the west coast trip.
HuskeHardcore Says:
Oakland? You must be a fan. While they were undefeated in the west last year they went 2-8 against the rest of the league with an easy schedual. This year is harder plus lost their best defensive player and Campbell is supposed to finally turn it around with no summer workouts and OTAs. No way.
graafitee4eva Says:
Well I am :D but despite of that AGAIN !!! the defense will have to play diffrent because the opponents are no longer gamplaning their plays away from nnamdi....opponents will have more space to opperate with....It will be a lot tougher but no doubt the raiders still might be able to handle that !!! Great preview btw ;)
